R\u00e9szben h\u00e1romsz\u00f6g alak\u00fa, amelyet k\u00e9t patak \u00f6sszefoly\u00e1sa k\u00e9pez a Nebelivka\nfoly\u00f3 jobb partj\u00e1n, a Jatran bal oldali mell\u00e9kfoly\u00f3ja mellett. R\u00e9g\u00e9szeti adatok\nalapj\u00e1n a teljes ter\u00fclet el\u00e9ri a 300 hekt\u00e1rt. Nebelivka Taljanok ut\u00e1n (450 ha)\na Cucuteni kult\u00fara m\u00e1sodik legnagyobb telep\u00fcl\u00e9se. 1500 \u00e9p\u00fcletet sz\u00e1ml\u00e1lt, a\nteljes lakoss\u00e1g 7 ezer f\u0151 volt. H\u00e9t\nolt\u00e1r maradv\u00e1nyait tal\u00e1lt\u00e1k meg a templomban, amelyeken a szent t\u0171zet\ngy\u00fajtott\u00e1k meg. Hatalmas k\u00f6z\u00e9p\u00fclet volt, az ajt\u00f3 sz\u00e9less\u00e9ge, amelyet a fellelt\nagyagk\u00fcsz\u00f6b r\u00e9v\u00e9n hat\u00e1roztak meg, el\u00e9rte az 1,7 m\u00e9tert. Vagyis az ajt\u00f3n k\u00e9t\nember l\u00e9phet ki \u00e9s be egyszerre. Az ajt\u00f3t t\u00edz m\u00e9teres folyos\u00f3 k\u00f6vette, \u00e9s a\nk\u00f6vetkez\u0151 ajt\u00f3 m\u00e1r k\u00e9t m\u00e9ter sz\u00e9les volt. Vagyis ennek az \u00e9p\u00fcletnek a m\u00e9retei\nhasonl\u00f3ak &nbsp;a modern-kori mezopot\u00e1miai\ntemplomok m\u00e9reteihez. A Nebelovszkij templom k\u00e9t emeletes volt, mennyezet\u00e9t\ntucatnyi faoszlop t\u00e1masztotta al\u00e1. M\u00e9g a k\u00f6telek nyomait is megtal\u00e1lt\u00e1k,\namelyekkel az \u0151si \u00e9p\u00edt\u00e9szek az \u00e9p\u00fclet v\u00e1z\u00e1t r\u00f6gz\u00edtett\u00e9k. V\u00f6r\u00f6s sz\u00ednre festett\nfalak \u00e9s padl\u00f3 j\u00f3 hangulatot keltett a ritu\u00e1l\u00e9 r\u00e9sztvev\u0151iben. A templomot ny\u00edlt\nter\u00fclet vette k\u00f6r\u00fcl, amelyen elf\u00e9rt a falu t\u00f6bb ezer lakosa. Ezt\nk\u00f6vet\u0151en a telep\u00fcl\u00e9st Siskin topogr\u00e1fus l\u00e9gifelv\u00e9telek seg\u00edts\u00e9g\u00e9vel kutatta\ntov\u00e1bb. Az 1980-as \u00e9vekben a Szovjetuni\u00f3 Tudom\u00e1nyos Akad\u00e9mia R\u00e9g\u00e9szeti\nInt\u00e9zet\u00e9nek exped\u00edci\u00f3ja Smaglija \u00e9s Kruca vezet\u00e9s\u00e9vel dolgozott a telep\u00fcl\u00e9sen.
